These terms are the agreement between the business that creates an account ("Customer", "you") and Chambre.io ("Chambre", "we", "us"), based in the United Kingdom. By creating an account, clicking to accept, or using the Service, you accept these terms on behalf of your organisation and confirm that you have authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Chambre provides an AI sales agent that you add to your own websites. It talks and types with your visitors, shows them your content, answers from the knowledge you provide, collects leads, books meetings and passes information to the tools you connect (together, the "Service"). The Service includes the website widget and embed script, voice conversations, the optional lip-synced talking avatar, AI text chat, the Knowledge Store, Leads, ABM Rooms, the customer console, the related APIs and our support.
2. Accounts and security
- The Service is for businesses. You must sign up with a work email address, give accurate information including your company name, and keep it up to date. Your company name is the name of your account.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by team members you invite and the roles you give them. Keep passwords secure. We offer two-step sign-in and recommend you turn it on for every login.
- Your site key and embed script may only be used on websites you have added in the console. We block other websites. You are responsible for keeping the list of allowed websites accurate.
- Tell us promptly at support@chambre.io if you suspect unauthorised access or a security problem.
- Our staff may access your account and configuration to provide support, investigate abuse or security incidents, operate billing, or as required by law. Such access is logged.
3. Free trial
- New organisations may start one free trial of 7 days on the Rookie, Maverick or Crew plan. One trial per organisation; we may refuse or end trials that we reasonably believe are repeat or abusive.
- A valid payment card is required to start the trial. The plan fee is not charged during the trial. The trial includes 60 voice minutes and 500 AI chat replies. Voice minutes used during the trial are charged at the per-minute prices shown at sign-up (£0.25, €0.29 or $0.32 a minute, plus the lip-synced avatar add-on described below if you switch it on). When the trial minutes are used, voice pauses until the trial converts; when the trial chat replies are used, the chat answers from its menu.
- Trial voice minutes are charged to your card when the trial ends, or immediately if you cancel during the trial.
- Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription to the plan you chose starts automatically at the end of the trial and your card is charged for the first billing period. We send a reminder email before the trial ends.
- You can cancel at any time during the trial from Account › Manage billing. If you cancel, you will not be charged the plan fee.
4. Plans, fees and payment
- Billing. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in the currency you choose (GBP, EUR or USD), through our payment provider Stripe. A yearly subscription costs ten times the monthly price. Prices shown per week are for comparison only; you are charged per month or per year. Prices exclude VAT and other taxes, which are added where required; you must give us accurate billing details and a valid tax number where applicable.
- Allowances. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of voice minutes, AI chat replies, AI agents, websites (one registrable domain and its subdomains each), Knowledge Store items and simultaneous calls, as shown at sign-up and in the console. Allowances are per calendar month or billing period as stated, do not roll over, and are not refundable if unused.
- Overage. Overage is off unless you switch it on in the console (Account › Enable overage). While it is off, voice calls pause when your monthly voice minutes are used, until the next period, and text chat carries on. While it is on, voice calls continue and extra voice minutes are charged.
- Lip-synced avatar. The lip-synced talking avatar is optional on every plan and off unless you switch it on for an agent in the console. While it is on, each voice minute on calls using it carries an add-on charge (£0.14, €0.16 or $0.18 a minute, or as shown in your console), set at our cost of providing it, in addition to any other charge for that minute and whether or not the minute is within your allowance.
- Usage charges. Use beyond your included voice minutes (when overage is on) and AI chat replies, and the lip-synced avatar add-on, are charged automatically at the prices shown at sign-up and in your console. Usage charges are added to your next monthly invoice, or, on yearly plans, invoiced and charged at the end of each month. We measure usage; our records are conclusive absent manifest error. A voice minute is any started minute of a connected call, rounded up per billing period.
- Spending protection. To protect you from unexpected bills, voice and AI chat pause automatically when your use in a period reaches three times your monthly allowance, until the next period or until you upgrade. The chat continues to answer from its menu. We may apply further fair-use limits per visitor, per website and per account to prevent abuse.
- Changing plan. You can upgrade at any time; the difference is charged pro rata. If you downgrade, agents, websites and knowledge items above the new allowance stay live for 14 days and are then paused in the order they were added, except the earliest ones within the allowance.
- Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; outstanding usage charges are invoiced at cancellation. Fees paid are non-refundable except where these terms or the law say otherwise.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails we will retry it and notify you. We may pause voice and AI chat while an invoice is overdue and suspend the account if it stays unpaid for 14 days after notice.
- Price changes. We may change prices or allowances with at least 30 days' notice by email or in the console; changes apply from your next renewal. Usage prices may change with 30 days' notice.
- Fleet (Enterprise). Fleet plans are priced individually and governed by an order form, which takes priority over these terms where they differ.
5. Your content and your responsibilities
- Customer Content. You are responsible for the instructions, knowledge sources, documents, web pages, Q&As, videos, images, avatars, voices, brand assets and other material you give the Service ("Customer Content"), and for having all rights and permissions needed to use them, including for any person's likeness or voice.
- Telling visitors it is AI. You must make it clear to your visitors that they are interacting with an AI system and must not configure the agent to claim to be human. The widget's AI labelling must not be hidden or removed.
- Notices and consent. You are responsible for your website's privacy notice and for any cookie, recording, call or marketing consent your visitors must give under the laws that apply to you and to them, including before voice conversations are processed and before you contact leads.
- Leads and conversations. The Service stores contact details, form answers, meeting bookings and conversation transcripts that visitors share, and shows them to your team in the console. You decide how long to keep them and may delete them. You are responsible for using them lawfully.
- Your decisions. The agent speaks on your behalf. You remain responsible for prices, offers, promises and commitments it makes to your customers based on your configuration, and for reviewing and testing the agent before and after you go live.
- Integrations and webhooks. When you connect a calendar, CRM or other third-party service, you authorise us to access it on your behalf as needed to provide the Service, and you must comply with that service's terms. If you set up a webhook, we send leads (including transcripts, if you choose) to the address you give us; you are responsible for that address, for keeping its signing secret safe, and for having a lawful basis and an up-to-date privacy notice covering where you send your visitors' data.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service, or allow others to use it, to: break any law or infringe anyone's rights; deceive visitors, or impersonate a real person or organisation without written permission; collect payment card details, passwords, health data or other special-category data through the agent unless agreed with us in writing; direct it at children; send unsolicited messages; make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about people solely by automated means; generate harmful, defamatory, discriminatory or sexually explicit content; use voices, avatars or likenesses you are not entitled to use; probe, scrape, overload, interfere with or reverse engineer the Service or circumvent its limits; or resell the Service except as we agree in writing. We may suspend or restrict use that we reasonably believe breaches this section, and we will tell you unless the law or an urgent security need prevents it.
7. AI output and third-party services
- The agent generates responses with machine learning models and speech, voice and avatar technology from third-party providers. Responses can be inaccurate, incomplete or unexpected, and voice recognition can mishear. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, such as numbers of leads, bookings or sales, and the agent's output is not professional advice.
- Voice and avatar features depend on real-time connections and providers' capacity and limits (for example maximum call length and simultaneous calls). Calls may end or be queued when limits are reached. You should not rely on a conversation being completed or stored.
- Features marked beta, preview or demo are provided as is and may change or be withdrawn.
8. Data protection
When the Service processes personal data of your visitors, leads and contacts, you are the controller and Chambre is your processor. Our Data Processing Addendum forms part of these terms and sets out our obligations, our sub-processors and the safeguards for international transfers. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal data about you and your team as a controller. We will not use your Customer Content or your visitors' conversations to train AI models offered to other customers.
9. Security and availability
We use industry-standard measures to protect the Service, including encryption in transit and at rest, per-customer data isolation enforced in the database, encrypted storage of connected-account tokens, website domain locking, rate limiting, role-based access, optional two-step sign-in and access logging. We aim for high availability and will tell you about planned maintenance where we can, but the Service is provided without a guaranteed uptime unless your order form includes a service level agreement. We may change, add or remove features, provided we do not materially reduce the core functionality of your plan during a period you have paid for.
10. Intellectual property
- You keep all rights in Customer Content and in your leads and conversation data. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, display and transmit it only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service and as these terms allow.
- We and our licensors keep all rights in the Service, including its software, models, avatars we supply, designs and documentation. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your business during your subscription.
- Any suggestions or feedback you give us may be used freely to improve the Service without obligation to you.
11. Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other's non-public information confidential, protect it with reasonable care, use it only for this agreement and disclose it only to people who need to know it and are bound by equivalent duties, or where required by law. This does not apply to information that is public, already known, or independently developed.
12. Warranties and liability
- Each party warrants that it has authority to enter this agreement. We warrant that we will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Otherwise the Service is provided as is, and we exclude all other warranties to the extent the law allows, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- You will indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from Customer Content, your configuration of the agent, your website or your breach of sections 5, 6 or 8.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, however caused; and each party's total liability under this agreement in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid or payable by you for the Service in that period.
13. Suspension and termination
- You can cancel at any time from Account › Manage billing; section 4 says when cancellation takes effect.
- We may suspend the Service, or parts of it, where you are in breach, an invoice is overdue, use threatens the security or integrity of the Service, or the law requires. We may end this agreement for material breach not fixed within 14 days of notice, immediately for serious misuse, or for any other reason with 90 days' notice and a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees for the unused period.
- After termination you can export your configuration, leads and conversation data for 30 days, after which we delete them, except for records we must keep by law (such as invoices) and routine backups, which are overwritten in the normal cycle.
- Sections that by their nature should survive (including fees owed, content responsibilities, intellectual property, confidentiality, liability and general) survive termination.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email or in the console. If you do not accept a change you may cancel before it takes effect; continued use after that date means you accept it.
15. General
These terms, the order form (if any), the Data Processing Addendum and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us and replace any earlier discussions. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Neither party may assign the agreement without the other's consent, except to a successor of its business on notice. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control. Notices to you go to your account email; notices to us go to the address in section 16. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies; a failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. Nothing creates a partnership or agency.
